Meet Oral Surgeon Dr. Kattchee

Dr. Kattchee has been continuously practicing Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Houston Texas since finishing his residency training in 1988 in the same location. He completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training in Houston Texas at the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental Branch, now called the School of Dentistry. He completed his dental degree at the same location in 1984. His college degree is from the University of Texas at Austin, BA 1979.

DR. M. A Ganni was born in Newark, New Jersey, but considers Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania home having moved there when he was 3 years old. He graduated with honors with a degree in Biology and Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry all from the University of Pittsburgh, in Pennsylvania. After graduating among the top of his class, he went on to receive his post-graduate residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center/Eastman Dental Center.

Dr. Ganni obtained his Board Certification immediately after residency. This was a very rigorous 2 years process which required a written exam followed by an oral examination a year later. In order to maintain board certification, Dr. Ganni is constantly taking Continuing Education courses to stay up to date with the most current treatment options and techonology. In addition, a written exam is required every 10 years, which Dr. Ganni successfully completed.

In addition to being a BOARD CERTIFIED oral and maxillofacial surgeon, he is also a fellow of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, and numerous other national dental and anesthesiology organizations. He is also certified in ACLS and PALS (adult and pediatric advanced life support).
